Everything Is "Perfect"!!!!!

CHECK OUT OUR BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All went well today! Our dr. is VERY happy with our first u/s!!!!! When he's happy, we're happy! When the lady stuck the u/s wand, both of our hearts stopped for a moment bc we were so worried we were going to see a blank screen and quiet dr. and u/s tech, but it was there right away and they were THRIIIIIILLED! Everyone was cheering!! What a relief!! Our little peanut is nicely snuggled into my uterus and my lining is thick and sticky due to the shots so he/she is not going anywhere. He said to take it REALLY easy the next few weeks and rest, rest, rest!! That's not a problem to me bc I'm super tired! I love that "rest" is dr's orders!!! I'm measuring 5 weeks, 3 days and our due date is 10/10!! We have a due date! OMG! It's so official with the due date!!! We'll go back in 2 weeks to our regular doctor and hopefully hear the heartbeat then. It might be too early, but hopefully not! Thanks for caring and praying! I truly believe in the power of prayer....please keep praying that everything goes as planned from here on out!! It's a TRUE MIRACLE!!!!!!!

Kelly,

I saw your post on babycenter.com and just read your entire blog from bottom to top. First I want to congratulate you and David on the wonderful news of becoming pregnant! Your story has given me hope. I too am going through the struggle of infertility. My husband and I have been trying for close to 2 years. I am not quite at the IVF step yet although I think about it a lot. I am doing Ovulation Induction w/ injectibles and IUI. I go for my pregnancy test on Valentines Day and I have a feeling it will be -, again. Do you have any tips for me in staying positive? It's been very tough for me every month getting a - result. Your blog has really inspired me to stay positive and I wish you and your husband and baby hutcheson the very best!

p.s. I cried while reading some of your blogs! Very touching!

Kelly So glad to see the u/s and hear the great news. Did the doctor say if there was one or two babys? WOW I will write your due date on my calendar. This is so wonderful. Congrats. I know you are excited and you and David will make great parents. Get plenty of rest and drink lots of water. WOOHOO.

Okay, I don't usually start out my Saturday mornings crying, but today I am! I was soooooo worried along with you two, but now all is fine! I have never seen a more beautiful peanut!!! I am very excited for you!
Kelly, you are my first pregnant friend which is VERY exciting for me, and since I am thinking of starting a family soon too, your experiences really makes me feel emotionally attached to your situation.
I salute you for putting your feeling out there and including your loved ones.
I can't wait to hear what is to happen next in these next in your ongoing journey.
Remember, as a pregnant woman, when you are just sitting around doing nothing, you are doing the most important job in the world... I have no doubt that you will be enjoying every moment!
