Seeing is Believing...

One thing that got me through the difficult years of trying to conceive was visualizing what it would be like to have a baby and be a family. Some days I couldn't visualize it as clearly as other days, but some days, (on my good days), it was crystal clear, where I could see the nursery from downstairs, hear him/her babbling in the backseat of the car, smell his/her sweet skin in clothes I bought for the baby to be and imagine David holding our baby. For a nanosecond, it was real!

I played out every scene, every scenario, picked out names, prayed like a nun, bought blankets and had to keep telling myself it would happen over and over. It was my mantra.

I didn't know how, I didn't know when, but I had to keep my faith and believe it would happen.

Visualizing was the only way to make it seem real and attainable.

I think I only visualized the first month or so with a baby because there have been THOUSANDS of scenes and scenarios I never played out in my mind. It may sound silly, but this is one of the thousand I never played out and I have to wipe my eyes in amazement

every.

single.

time...

(with sound)

Thank you Lily for opening up my love cup, turning on the hose full blast and flooding it over and over!

I never visualized your magic.

Life is Good!!

ADORABLE! Beautiful...love the part, almost to the end, where she literally pushes someone out of the way so she can walk past them. Walking is so much more beautiful with music and slow motion. We should have movies like that for all of our steps! Good job, movie-making mama!

She is such a walker now. Move over babyhood, onward to toddlerhood:) Such fun!

Lily is a precious little girl and her eyes glisten with the love she has for you and David.

The more parents enjoy their children . . . the more they enjoy life itself . . . and with you and David . . . Lily is fulfilling yours!

Btw . . . Lily learning to walk opens up so many new things for her to explore . . . like pretty soon . . . perhaps I can show her how to get some peanut butter on a spoon!

Love Ya!

The video montage was so happy, moving, and more. I truly run out of words. She is priceless, and your life is so full of love now. It was before, but there is a new dimension never imagined until experienced.

Mom
