We've known we wanted a baby when we met 8 years ago in 1999.
We've tried for 4 years.
We've waited for 4 years.
We've waited 208 weeks.
We've waited 1,460 days.
...so what is another 4 weeks?
...What is another mere 32 days?
I used to dream of being pregnant with a "baby".
Now all I can dream about is holding "Lily".
Not just a baby, but our Lily Grace who was loved before she was even conceived.
I find myself randomly gazing at these 4D u/s pictures we had a few weeks ago, all the while dreaming of holding her in my arms, watching David with her, smelling her sweet skin, gazing at her, feeding her, kissing her, praying with her, driving with her in a carseat, pushing her in a stroller, watching all her movements, whispering to her, and showing her how much she is loved!! By so many. (tears are streaming down my face right now)
I see that smile Lily...
I think she's winking here...
I think someone is tired and needs a nap! :) If that's not the cutest yawn, I don't know what is??!!

Tears. Chills. Everything. I can't tell you how good it makes me feel to see you SO SO SO HAPPY. And this is just the beginning. I feel like we are waiting for A HUGE PARTY, EVERY Christmas, New Years eve, the Fourth of July, and the birthday of everyone we love, all rolled into one. It will be the best day. THE BEST DAY!! I can't wait to see her in your arms!! The happiness will be infinite!!!

Besides for the birth obviously another of the most amazing moments is walking into the house with them for the first time and knowing that they're yours forever.
